Revolution #9

Hi all!



- I am published this week in the Catholic Register, I wrote a thing on "Safe Motherhood" according to the UN:

- Spent last week getting Shannon, our WYA north american director, ready for the international AIDS conference. Lots of florescent flyers so we'll outshine the other dull pale flyers. Tehee. Writing reports of our upcoming youth camp, evaluation of our CEDAW strategic plan (erhm to take over the UN), and what not. All in a day's work ;)

- Went to Tiffanys, I think with every update the Tiffanys visit will be implied from now on. I'm starting to realize I'll be missing it when I leave...

- I have lined up 3 interviews for Toronto, and more phone interviews this week. I'm really a bit of a wreck I'm afraid as to what to do exactly, next...but it's okay...because I have good health (knock on wood)...and...a watch that works. Who needs much else? :)

- We had our coffeehouse, and uncovered lots of talent, line dancing, singing, piano-playing people. With Caffeine, Cookies and music, well, it was alot of fun :) I've perfected dairy free cupcakes with not-so-dairy-free chocolate chips and peanut butter....

- I am sooo excited to be back next weekend! I miss everything from the Newman Centre to Ossington to the Honey Crullers at Tim Hortons and Second Cup Coffee (Boycotting Starbucks is complicated, if not impossible in New York)!!

- Write me if you're free Friday night (Aug 8), I hope we can get together and catch up =)
